




Well, what a year it’s been for Lady Gaga. As well as taking the music world by storm, she’s also quickly become one of the biggest beauty icons of 2009. With her ever changing and uber experimental looks, even beauty chameleon Rihanna looks dull in comparison! So what have been the Gaga highlights?

And now with a few more Grammy nominations for the singer, RedOne explained to MTV News at the Grammy Nominations Concert that he is still reeling from the news. "It's overwhelming. I got tears, tears in my eyes," he said. "It's unbelievable. It's crazy."
Gaga, along with RedOne, is up for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Dance Recording for "Poker Face." Gaga is also up for Album of the Year and Best Electronic/Dance Album for The Fame. Gaga and RedOne gained a Best Dance Recording nom for "Just Dance" at last year's show.
"I mean, no one did expect it this big, but we knew the music was incredible when we first started," he added. Before RedOne met with Gaga, he had decided he no longer wanted to work with unsigned artists — but Gaga was different. "I went and met with her ... and then we started talking David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, all of that. We went into the studio. We wrote 'Boys Boys Boys.' The rest is history.
"She's the most incredible person, very talented, very ahead of the curve," he gushed. "Her ideas are unlimited — true star, true artist. Finally we got something like the Michaels [Jackson], the Madonnas — big ones that are real artists' artists."
